During my stay, I found the hotel to offer a mix of positive and negative aspects. The rooms had a bit of a moldy and putrid smell, but the balcony provided a magnificent view of Imperial Beach Pier, the Pacific Ocean, and the lively surroundings. The service was somewhat forgetful and slow, requiring extra effort on my part, yet the staff at the hotel was incredibly accommodating. The location, while safe and visually appealing, was in a somewhat desolate neighborhood. The dining experience ranged from delicious and fresh options to having to eat out of a box in the room. Overall, the facilities were acceptable, with some hits and misses in various areas.
